Barrier for my skin

I feel like this acts as a barrier for my skin. My skin tends to break out more from the environment/dirt/pollution. I have been using this for a few months and I noticed that my skin doesn't break out as often. I wasn't sure if this was the case so I stopped using it for a few months, and my skin started breaking out again! I really can't live without this.
