Awful

Compared to the facial cleanser it replaced, this is NOT worth it. I will be returning and unfortunately will have to find another luxurious facial cleanser like the one this neutrogena esque cleanser replaced. I even waited an extra month for re stock and was so excited to have my cleanser back to be sorely disappointed. Bring back the original facial cleanser!

What happened to this product - not the same!

I just bought the revised product and I am very disappointed. The scent is so masculine and the texture is goopy vs creamy and luxurious. What is interesting is that the packing slip states 'men's cleanser', something is amiss. Sadly, I will not purchase this again and I won't be getting the value kit. Please bring back the product we all loved.

You are correct that this cleanser is different from our the Lumière de Vie Facial Cleanser, the gel is infused with aloe, which may contribute to the scent you described as more masculine. When first launched, this product was part of our LDV Hommes line (which is now discontinued), but due to its popularity, we incorporated it into the main LDV collection. We apologize for any confusion with the product labeling and are working to update our system accordingly.

I also wanted to let you know that the Lumière de Vie Facial Cleanser was discontinued earlier this year and replaced by the Lumière de Vie Cleansing Gel. Not Effective for Makeup Removal

I bought this as part of the revised three pack. No issues with those other two products (toner and intensive hydrating cream). They are fantastic, hence why I'm leaving a negative review solely on this product. It smells and feels like a detergent or body wash, a man's ocean scented body wash. The product it replaced was phenomenal. Only a dime sized amount and my face passed the white towel test, no scrubbing required (first pic). This product, a quarter size, minimum, dollop and vigorous scrubbing with a facecloth to remove simple foundation and eye makeup (non waterproof mascara). (Second pic.)I was actually wondering if maybe the Hommes cleansing gel was mistakenly put into the Lumiere bottles? Also, why are there dyes in it?!

Best facial cleanser yet

So many facial cleansers, so little results. However, this one is definitely my favorite. Cleans my skin without leaving it depleted of moisture. Cleans pores and doesn’t burn my eyes. My husband likes it, too.
