"I’d been trying everything — vitamins, collagen, biotin — but nothing helped my thinning hair. I joined a beta test for this new product. By day 60 and 90, the difference was amazing. This stuff works. I’ve kept the growth and I'm so excited to see even more results!" - Bonnie G. Shop Consultant

What Makes nutraMetrix® Fixx Hair Growth Duo Unique?
Hair loss may occur at any age due to internal factors like the normal aging process. Every day, the average person sheds 100-150 strands of hair — a normal balance between growth and rest. But if you’re noticing excessive shedding, thinning or more hair in your brush than usual, it could mean your hair’s natural cycle is out of sync. A disrupted balance between actively growing (anagen) and resting (telogen) hairs can lead to visible hair changes over time. One way to support hair growth is to promote the elongation of the anagen phase and the shortening of the telogen phase; supplementing with antioxidant-supporting ingredients and topical agents containing nutrients that help support the hair follicles can help promote the elongation of the anagen phase.
Vitamins & Minerals for Antioxidant Support
nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs are packed with vitamins and minerals containing antioxidant properties that help combat the effects of free radicals. Both vitamin A and biotin have antioxidant properties and have been shown to play a role in follicular health. Biotin, often referred to as the beautification vitamin
, is well known for its ability to promote keratin production. Keratin is a vital protein that promotes hair’s strength and vibrance while also supporting the overall health of hair, skin and nails. Keratin, a protein that is produced by the body, naturally declines with age. Vitamins like biotin can be used to support keratin production, helping to maintain stronger, healthier-looking hair by aiding in protein synthesis. It also plays a role in scalp health, creating optimal conditions for healthy hair.
Healthy levels of vitamin A contribute to hair health by promoting the natural oils that help keep our scalp moisturized. This oil, sebum, also acts as a protectant against harmful UV rays and other environmental factors; the production of sebum can help support the strength and shine of one’s locks. Sebum transports antioxidants acquired from vitamins to the surface of the scalp, providing added protection from environmental factors and free radicals to the hair follicles. Healthy levels of minerals like selenium and zinc have also been shown to help support the hair growth cycle; having too much selenium and zinc or having too little zinc may be accompanied by hair loss.
Botanical Blend for Promoting Fuller, Healthier Hair
nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs feature a blend of pumpkin seed extract, ginseng and millet — ingredients known for their roles in supporting hair wellness. Pumpkin seed and ginseng are prized ingredients for supporting healthy hair growth in men with male pattern hair loss, while millet provides essential nutrients to nourish the scalp and support hair fibers. By addressing multiple factors in the hair cycle, this formula helps create an optimal environment for healthier-looking hair in both men and women. Ginseng has been shown to help promote hair growth and help maintain hair quality and scalp health. Millet extract serves as a source of antioxidants for follicular health as it contains minerals, vitamins and various phenolic properties. It has the unique ability to help further heighten the capabilities of the antioxidant properties that help support healthy hair follicles and keep the roots secured to the scalp.
If your hair isn't what it used to be, it's time to support it from within. The combination of these select ingredients provides the body with vitamins, nutrients and ingredients that work from the inside out. Treat your hair to a powerful mix of antioxidant botanicals, minerals and vitamins that help contribute to a healthy hair growth cycle to support a healthy head with nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs. Formulated with a unique, powerful mix of botanicals that includes pumpkin seed extract and ginseng, nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs work from the inside out to provide sustained, confidence-building results! nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs
Vitamin A (as vitamin A acetate) 400 mcg
Vitamin A is a fat - soluble micronutrient that is necessary for maintaining healthy skin and hair. Hair follicle stem cells regulate the hair cycle under normal conditions and vitamin A plays a regulatory role. Studies have found supplemental vitamin A may help promote the hair cycle. There are various retinol-based receptors in the cell that are activated by retinoic acid, a downstream metabolite of vitamin A. These receptors play a crucial role in regulating various aspects of the cell cycle in hair and skin cells.
Zinc (as zinc sulfate) 5 mg
Zinc is an essential element, as our bodies cannot generate it on their own and must obtain it through dietary consumption. One well-known sign of zinc deficiency is hair loss. Results of one study found a strong correlation between zinc deficiency and hair loss.
Biotin 200 mcg
Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin of B-complex. It serves as a coenzyme for carboxylase enzymes that play a role in metabolic reactions involving the transfer of carbon dioxide. Since our bodies produce biotin endogenously in the intestine, there are various situations which could result in decreased biotin synthesis. One of the notable effects of biotin deficiency is hair loss.
Selenium (as Saelenium yeast) 165 mcg
Selenium is an essential trace element that plays a central role in the synthesis of more than 35 proteins. One of the most important antioxidant enzymes, glutathione peroxidase, requires selenium as a co-factor. This is important when evaluating hair loss etiology, as oxidative stress can be the basis of many hair loss cases.
Ginseng (Panax ginseng) (root and leaf) 1,075 mg
Ginseng is one of the most scientifically appreciated herbs to date, with its use in traditional Chinese culture dating back to thousands of years ago. Nearly 200 unique components have been isolated from ginseng, but the most unique and biologically active of these include ginsenosides and polysaccharides. Ginseng and its ginsenosides have been found to play a role in supporting the expression and activity of key proteins involved in phases of hair growth. One study reported the effectiveness of ginseng in promoting the thickness and density of hair. These ginsenosides can promote hair growth by promoting the proliferation of hair cells via various cell-signaling pathways.
Foxtail Millet extract (Setaria italica) 450 mg
Millets were once one of the major food crops, but modern use has shifted its application thanks to its diverse nutritional profile that includes protein, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. It is also considered to be one of the most digestible grains when compared to rice and wheat. Being rich in phytochemicals and fiber also makes this grain an excellent choice when examining dietary supplements. While hair loss or thinning hair is a physiological phenomenon that can happen to anyone of advancing age, there is now evidence to suggest that various phytochemicals, along with vitamins and minerals, may influence the health of hair. Millet extract has traditionally been consumed as an oral supplement for hair health, which may be attributed to its nutritional composition that includes the essential amino acid cysteine, as well as silicon (a micromineral). One study in Japanese subjects noted significant differences in hair thickness and texture, as well as less fallout following consumption of a supplement with millet extract and keratin powder.
Pumpkin Seed Extract (Curcubita moschata) 400 mg
Pumpkin is an edible fruit whose seeds are rich in oil, protein, alpha -tocopherols and carbohydrates. They also contain fatty acids such as oleic and linoleic acid, in addition to phytosterolsand play a role in various metabolic pathways. Notably, pumpkin seeds and their extracts have gained scientific interest due to their antioxidant potential. Scientific findings have consistently demonstrated that compounds present in pumpkin seeds act as free radical scavengers and antioxidants.
FAQs
- Is nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Serum tested on animals?
Fixx does not conduct or commission animal testing of any finished product(s). - I am sensitive to caffeine; can I still use nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Serum?
Yes! Caffeine in topical products works differently than when it’s consumed orally. When applied to the skin, caffeine primarily works as an antioxidant without causing the systemic effects associated with consuming caffeine, such as increased heart rate or jitters. However, it’s always wise to conduct a patch test first to ensure you don’t have any adverse reactions on your skin. If you experience any irritation or discomfort, it’s best to discontinue use and consult with a dermatologist. - Can I use nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Serum with other Fixx products?
Yes, Fixx products are designed to work together. Fixx Thick Hair Shampoo & Conditioner would be a perfect complement while using Fixx Hair Growth Serum to ensure hair is looking thicker, fuller and soft. - What is the average daily hair loss?
Someone with a healthy hair growth cycle experiences a loss of 100-150 hair follicles a day, portraying a healthy balance of hair follicles within the anagen (actively growing) and telogen (resting) phase with a ratio falling around 14:1 to 12:1. Losing well over that amount of hair on a daily basis may be an indication of having an off-balance or decreased ratio of anagen to telogen hair growth. Male and female pattern hair loss typically have a ratio of 5:1, where those who experience hair loss due to hair follicles prematurely entering the telogen stage may have a ratio closer to that of 8:1; meaning that they have shorter anagen cycles or less hair actively growing than in the resting phase of the hair growth cycle. - What are additional ways to support hair growth?
Aside from oral or topical supplementation, massaging the scalp to naturally stimulate hair follicles, getting an adequate amount of sleep and maintaining healthy hormonal balance and stress levels can all help promote the elongation of the anagen phase. - What are the stages of hair growth?
It is estimated that each hair on the head will go through the hair growth cycle between one and thirty times throughout its lifetime. There are four primary phases that each strand of hair goes through throughout this process: the active growth phase (anagen), regression or transitional phase (catagen), resting phase (telogen) and the shedding phase (exogen), in which the hair follicle returns to the active growth stage again. On average, between 100 and 150 strands are lost through shedding each day. The anagen phase, lasting anywhere between two to eight years typically, is responsible for the length of hair growth and becomes shorter and shorter as one ages. - What are the directions for use?
nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Serum Directions for use: Apply 5 drops of serum, twice daily, directly to your scalp, sectioning wet or dry hair with the fingers as you go. Use enough serum to cover areas of concern. Massage with fingertips. Do not rinse.
nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Tabs Directions for use: Take 4 tablets daily with a meal. Take at the same time each day with a full glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless directed by a health care professional.
For best results, use both nutraMetrix Fixx Hair Growth Serum and Tabs together as directed at the same time each day. - What role does pumpkin seed oil play in promoting hair growth?
Hormones play a large role in hair growth, and males seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to hair loss in comparison to women; one culprit is testosterone. When testosterone is met with the enzyme alpha-5 reductase, it is converted into another hormone known as dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which then binds to the hair follicles. If DHT levels are too high, it may overstimulate the hair follicles, causing them to prematurely enter the telogen phase of the hair growth cycle and remain in that phase for longer periods of time. Ultimately, this can lead to shrinkage of the hair follicles and hair loss. Pumpkin seed oil is a prized ingredient for supporting hair growth because it can support normal DHT levels.

FIXX Hair Growth Serum
Began using this product almost 2 months ago. No noticeable changes yet. I'll review in few months to give the product time to work.
I like that the serum doesn't leave the hair oily after applications.

Incredible difference
I started both products and within a month I saw some small differences. Our hair grows only about 1/2 inch per month so you have to give this time. After three months, the empty spots in my crown and my part tightened, the hair is full and I am not freaking out anymore. It was really stressful because I didn't know which way to style my hair to cover the empty spots. Traumatic. This has made a huge difference. My hair is full and strong and looks great.
